These challenges fascinate and intimidate me. Finally attempting one myself taught me so much more than simply developing my illustration skills; I learned how to decide something is finished (instead of tweaking it to death), try new palettes and difficult subjects like hands and liquid, and the courage to actually post to instagram even though I’m not even an illustrator! I ended up getting covid during this challenge so the final image was drawn in December (hence the christmassy-ness).
